Casio Men's GW7900B-1 "G-Shock" Solar Sport Watch

I'll start by describing the watch functionality of the watch as this is frequently overlooked. On the main screen, at the top there are three horizontal bars that signify the watch received the atomic time signal the previous night, next to that is the day and data. In the middle section, on the left if a circle showing the current moon phase, in the middle a graph showing the tide, and on the right a circle that shows passing seconds. Finally, on the bottom is the time along with indicators for power save mode and battery level. As you cycle through the different modes you will see: a tide function to look up the tides or moon phase at a specific time and date, you can also set the correct tide and moon data; a second time zone; alarms - there are 4 alarms, a snooze alarm, and a hourly signal; stop watch; and count down timer. The watch face is a negative image and the backlight illuminates only the characters and symbols, not the entire background as many watches. Some people have complained that the watch is hard to read because of the negative image, but I have not had any problems. I love this watch! Is big, huge, bold and everyone notice it. It is heavy but you can get used to it. Bracelet too big. I have a normal wrist but still had to remove four links. No problem with keeping time. Previously I owed smaller watches so when strap broke or opened I could lose the watch and not feel it. Not a case with this one. Casio Men's GW-9400-1CR "Master of G" Stainless Steel Solar Watch

This Rangeman is about my sixth Casio watch in the last 20+ years. It is replacing my Atomic GULFMAN. Nothing mechanically wrong with my Gulfman, it's just taken a beating being worn everyday for 4 years. I am so impressed with the Rangeman, I am contemplating purchasing another with the alternative face. The watch has a very solid, hefty feel. The face is slightly larger that my Gulfman, but not too much, I just absolutely LOVE the Casio atomic feature. Took the watch out of the box and it was set exactly to the second. The watch has all the bells and whistles that you could possibly think of. The ONLY ever so slight thing is the band.
